Wallingford Car Rally

The team behind the 2017 Wallingford Car Rally would like to thank everyone who attended on supporting such an amazing 2017 event. The weather brought out much more people than ever before and the selection of cars was as amazing. 350 vehicles took part in the parade and thousands of members of the public lined the streets of Wallingford, making it the most successful event ever.

Thanks to your generosity we are able to donate over £14,000 to local charities and organisations this year, which include Wallingford Scouts, The Corn Exchange, Riding For The Disabled, SeeSaw, MacMillan and Wallingford Fire Service to name just a few. This will make a huge difference to so many people, we can’t thank you enough. During the 2018 event we will pass the £100,000 mark of money raised for local charities, amazing generosity, thank you.

Rokefest    25-27 May

is wall-to-wall music with an impressive selection of real ales on tap and great pub food, all set in a 16th Century pub in the South Oxfordshire village of Roke, near Benson (OX10 6JD). The festival has been running for 14 years and draws a loyal following.

Rokefest is hosted annually by The Home Sweet Home in Roke on the last bank holiday in May. The garden will be fully covered by a marquee, so no need to bring your wellies! BBQ food will also be available throughout the weekend; and there will be a hog roast at 7pm on Saturday.

The festival is proud to have supported both local and national charities. This year is no exception as bands will once again give their time and energy for free in aid of Cancer Research UK who raise much needed funds to help beat cancer sooner. Entrance is free, but we ask for a donation towards a limited edition wristband! You will also be able to purchase a branded 'eco pint cup' with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK and at the same time helping the environment too! on the Friday til 12pm then runs 12noon til 12pm on both the following days.

Wallingford Carnival 16 June

Wallingford Carnival 2018 will take place on

The theme for the Carnival is
Lights, Camera, Action

Come and join in the fun at this year's carnival
and take part in our procession.

We are very keen to create a wonderful procession. This means encouraging more of you to join in, pubs, clubs, groups, schools, businesses, musicians, individuals, anyone and everyone, the more the merrier. It's a great form of advertising and a way of showing off who you are and what you can do!
